This time, the 79th annual Academy awards was an awesome show. On the whole, the event seemed to have gone up a few notches in our experience. Its probably, in part, from the red carpet 'live on E!' that I watched this time. But, it did seem like a genuine effort to appreciate talent and celebrate performance. Aint it?

Contrast that with the Filmfare awards and Stardust awards...! Like my trying to boost the visit counter, trying to up the TRPs and individual star quotient would only come thus far ;-)
