WCs in the US, atleast the public WCs for the Men, is quite 'open'. One can easily see the person's feet from the outside (and if one makes a little more effort, pretty much everything else ;)
One of my (a li'l eccentric, should i add?!) friends in the US commented that, at his company, he can identify the person inside from his shoes. But then, it is a different matter altogether that there are only 3 people (including himself) in their company!!
