one of my friends was complaining that Fridays doesn't seem like fridays anymore... what with the friday dressing code being abolished at work. but, dress or no dress, for me, Fridays are Fridays and the weekend is just around the corner!!
I want to get away from the hustle bustle of the city and go someplace just for a day.. someplace calm and serene and yet not too far away from bangalore... any suggestions?

Lots of places on the mysore ooty roadway like ..i forgot the names, they start with p and m..they are great places to go..also the nearby places close to thalacauvery etc..

bhaskar, the name of the places are masanagudi and pykara,they are abt 1 to 1.5 hrs from ooty.. i used to go there regularly till 1994. very nice places daa..calm environment
